Colorado Springs Police Busy Yesterday

Yesterday was a busy day for the Colorado Springs police with two different stand offs involving the use of firearms.

What do I take away from this? Innocent people (not talking about the boyfriend) can get involved in these dangerous encounters. Hostage situations do happen and they happen everywhere. One of the absolute essential traits of survivors is a level head. Learn to control your emotions and think clearly when under high pressure and danger.
